Wow, where do I begin, In March 2011 My wife and I sent Mr Coleman/Cattle Rustler Kennels $8000 for a pregnant female, as soon as the payment was taken, his contact with us faded, he became totally un-contactable and avoided all of our emails and phone calls. In May 2011, after the lack of contact we thought be had been conned, but soon after he decided to contact us, saying that the pregnant bitches blood work had been done wrong by his vet. and that he had been on vacation (not sure why he didn't think to inform us of this?) We felt there was a trust issue and asked for our money back. He very quickly he responded with an offer of the same bitch to be sent pregnant again this time bred to Metallica, he also offered to send us a male pup from a dog called Shaka in order to breed to the offspring from the pregnant bitch. We live in Cork, Ireland so felt it would be important to have this male for our breeding plan. we welcomed this offer.
4 months passed, then seemingly out of the blue Mr Coleman called us explaining that the bitch had come into heat three days ago. and that he was going to breed her to Metallica that week. He then said because the blood work had been done wrong we would have to pay to have it redone, and that we needed to pay for the care and prep work for the bitch, so we sent him another $800. during the next week we conversed about our breeding plan for Ireland, his approach-ability and helpfulness amended our thoughts about him and were looking forward to being a part of the ABBA and breeding the best of the best for Ireland with the help of Mr Coleman. He had explained that the $800 we had sent him included a Scan to ensure she was pregnant because he wanted to make sure she was pregnant before shipping her.
A few weeks go by, I had sent him emails asking him pedigree information of my pregnant bitch and he hadn't replied, i was hoping that it wouldst get like this again, so I called him, he answered, when I asked him why he hadn't replied to my emails, he said he was too busy and that anything i wanted to know, I should call him. (the point was i wanted a pedigree, not words from his mouth) i agreed to call him in future and expected him not to reply to our emails. During the next two to three weeks, I rang him sparingly as he said he was busy, but every time my call would go to his voice mail, our panic set in again and we were getting very angry.
One week before our bitch was due he calls to tell us he had been unexpectedly busy with his other business (*real estate) and that the bitch was carrying a big litter, He said that he needed to get her shipped right away. I asked him what the flight was going to cost and to let me know asap so I could get over the payment, he said he would call the airline and get a price. after a few days i called him, no answer, so i email mail him, no answer, then 2 days before our bitch is due to give birth i get an email with the flight quote and other fees, Extra Kenneling fee, vet fees, progesterone test, crate, Artificial Insemination Fee, Airport Taxi fee and flight, totaling $3190. We were so angry that these fees weren't explained to us before, but he insisted that was the price and we must pay or he would not ship the bitch. We had two choices not get the bitch and possibly not get a refund for all we spent or we pay the $3000. He agreed on $3000 flat and we sent it to him that night by wire transfer. Angry doesn't even begin to explain our feeling but at least we had a flight number and times of departure and landing. we woke up to an email the next morning from Mr Coleman that our bitch was on route to LAX (the airport in LA) at 6am the following morning we left to collect our dog from the airport, on the way my wife decided to check our emails in case Mr Coleman had left us any instructions for the bitch, and to our complete horror, we had an email from Mr Coleman saying she had been refused flight due to being far too pregnant to ship.
After this we asked repeatedly for our money back, but knew it wasn't going to be straight forward, we never heard from Mr Coleman again. You may share this and our email address with whomever it may concern
